Caliche is a naturally occurring calcium carbonate layer in Arizona soil that hardens into a substance as tough as concrete. Standard shovels and light equipment will bounce right off of it, but we utilize heavy-duty machinery to smash through and remove it across the Greater Phoenix Area.
Pneumatic & Hydraulic Breaking:
Using heavy excavator jackhammer and breaker attachments to fracture solid caliche veins.
Caliche Ripper Passes:
Ripping through dense subsurface rock shelves with heavy steel shanks to loosen the ground.
Excavation Layer Cleanout:
Scooping up and hauling away the shattered, concrete-like chunks to make room for clean topsoil.
Digging Remediation:
Breaking through caliche blocks so you can successfully plant large trees, dig pools, or grade yards.
